Pakistan, Aug. 8 -- Heavy rain lashed Lahore on Saturday, flooding low-lying areas, major roads and underpasses. The downpour disrupted traffic and daily activities across several parts of the city.
According to Wasa data, Lahore received an average of 24.6 millimetres of rainfall. The airport recorded the highest rainfall at 104mm, followed by Kahna with 75.6mm.

Several areas, including Farrukhabad, Tajpura, Defence Phase-VI and Shadipura, received heavy showers. Water accumulation made movement difficult for motorists and pedestrians.
