India, Nov. 15 -- Union Minister Hardeep Singh Puri inaugurated the Hydrothermal Liquefaction Pilot Plant at HPCL Green R&D Centre in Bengaluru.
He commended the Centre's innovation, led by over 150 scientists, including 37% women leaders, as a significant contribution to India's Energy Aatmanirbhar Bharat initiative. The new facility aims to convert seaweed into bio-crude, enhancing sustainable bioenergy efforts.
