Pakistan, Oct. 24 -- Former Punjab Chief Minister Hamza Shehbaz Sharif visited the residence of martyred Major Wajahat Waheed here on Friday and offered condolences to the bereaved family.

He met the martyr's mother, brother, wife and other family members and expressed his heartfelt sympathies over the supreme sacrifice rendered by the army officer.

He said Major Wajahat Waheed had laid down his life while defending the motherland and performing his duties.
