Pakistan, Oct. 8 -- As high-stakes negotiations continue in Egypt's Sharm El-Sheikh, Hamas has presented six key conditions that it says must be met before signing any peace agreement. The group insists that no deal will be finalized without firm guarantees ensuring a complete and lasting end to the fighting. Senior negotiator Khalil al-Hayya emphasized that the delegation arrived for "serious and responsible negotiations," but only on the basis of promises that hostilities will never resume.
