Pakistan, Dec. 14 -- A shooting at Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island, left two students dead and nine others injured as police launched a massive manhunt for the unidentified suspect. Authorities deployed over 400 personnel to secure the campus and surrounding areas.

The incident occurred in the Barus & Holley engineering building while students were taking exams. Police said the suspect, possibly a man in his 30s dressed in black, escaped after opening fire, and may have been wearing a mask.

Providence Deputy Police Chief Timothy O'Hara confirmed that shell casings were recovered from the scene. Officials plan to release surveillance footage of the suspect and are seeking tips from witnesses to help track him down.
