Pakistan, Jan. 5 -- Greenland's Prime Minister Jens-Frederik Nielsen declared "enough is enough," rejecting US President Donald Trump's renewed remarks about taking over the Arctic island. Denmark and European allies also affirmed that Greenland's future must be decided by its people, dismissing any notion of annexation.
Trump made the comments a day after US special forces captured Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro, linking strategic ambitions in Latin America to interest in Greenland. He said in an interview that Greenland is needed for defense, promising to revisit the topic in the coming weeks.
