Pakistan, May 22 -- The Ministry of Energy Power Division has issued an advisory warning electricity consumers about potential fraud linked to the newly introduced QR code verification system on electricity bills.

Officials said that cybercriminals are attempting to exploit the system by posing as government representatives and targeting users under the pretext of subsidy registration schemes.
