Pakistan, Aug. 21 -- The federal government increased the price of High-Speed Diesel (HSD) by Rs 1.64 per litre and petrol by Rs 0.27 per litre, effective Friday, August 21. According to a notification issued by the Ministry of Energy (Petroleum Division), the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) on Thursday revised the ex-depot prices of petroleum products under the government's petroleum pricing mechanism. The price of petrol was increased by Rs 0.27 per litre, taking it from Rs 337.51 to Rs 337.78 per litre. The price of HSD was raised by Rs 1.64 per litre, from Rs 363.06 to Rs 364.70 per litre.
