Pakistan, Aug. 19 -- The federal government has decided to reduce diesel prices by Rs30 to Rs32 per litre, Petroleum Minister Ali Pervaiz Malik said. The move is aimed at providing relief to consumers facing higher fuel costs.
Malik said the government understands public difficulties and is working to provide relief during the current situation. He said subsidies on petroleum products were also part of these efforts.
