Pakistan, Aug. 29 -- The government has apologised to electricity consumers for temporary night-time loadshedding across the country. The Power Division linked the disruption to delays in RLNG supplies. Officials said one RLNG cargo failed to arrive on time. This created a power shortfall of around 3,600 megawatts during peak hours. Consequently, authorities carried out load management for 1.5 to three hours overnight. The government said the situation would improve after delayed RLNG cargoes arrive.
