Pakistan, Sept. 6 -- Sindh Governor Syed Muhammad Nehal Hashmi met with a delegation of the Local Government Reporters Association at Governor House. The delegation was led by Association President Suleman Saadat Khan.

During the meeting, issues faced by journalists, coverage of local government affairs and various matters related to the media were discussed.

Speaking on the occasion, Governor Sindh Syed Muhammad Nehal Hashmi said that reporters covering local government affairs perform an important duty by keeping the public informed about facts. He said that reporters play a vital role in bringing public issues to the attention of the government.
