Pakistan, Oct. 16 -- Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Faisal Karim Kundi on Thursday attended the collective funeral prayer of 33 children and a female teacher who lost their lives in the Dir Colony school roof collapse incident and later visited the site of the tragedy, vowing strict action against those found responsible.

Talking to media during his visit, the Governor expressed deep sorrow and grief over the tragic incident, saying that every citizen was saddened by the loss of precious human lives. He termed the deaths of innocent children and the teacher an irreparable loss and assured that no compromise would be made on a transparent investigation.
