ISLAMABAD, June 15 -- The federal government has reduced the monthly petrol quota and other privileges available to ministers as part of its ongoing austerity campaign aimed at cutting public expenditure and promoting financial discipline.
Federal Minister for Law and Justice Azam Nazeer Tarar said the monthly petrol quota for federal ministers has been slashed from 400 litres to 200 litres. The move is part of a broader effort by the government to ensure better utilization of national resources and reduce unnecessary spending.
