Pakistan, April 24 -- Solar system licensing linked to NEPRA, government clarifies role, as the Power Division rejected reports tying licensing directly to federal orders. The spokesperson said the Solar Licensing process follows regulatory rules set by the authority, not separate government directives.

Meanwhile, the Power Division explained that regulations for obtaining licenses already exist under NEPRA. Distribution companies only implement these rules. Therefore, officials stressed that linking federal government instructions to solar licensing requirements is misleading and incorrect.
