Pakistan, May 13 -- Google has announced a new line of laptops called Googlebook, introducing a major shift in its hardware strategy by combining artificial intelligence features with a new software ecosystem built around Gemini.

The company said the upcoming laptops will run on a platform that merges Android and ChromeOS, creating a unified experience across devices while placing Gemini AI at the centre of user interaction.

One of the standout features is the new Magic Pointer, which replaces the traditional cursor with an interactive tool designed to trigger Gemini-based actions.
