Pakistan, Oct. 8 -- The price of 24-karat gold increased by Rs1,500 on Tuesday and was traded at Rs416,778 per tola compared to Rs415,278 on the previous day. The price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold rose by Rs1,286 to Rs357,319 from Rs356,033, while 10 grams of 22-karat gold went up by Rs1,179 to Rs327,554 from Rs.326,375, according to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association. In the international market, the gold price increased by $15 to $3,955 from Rs3,940 per ounce. However, the price of silver witnessed a slight decrease as it declined by Rs20 per tola to Rs4,929 and by Rs17 per 10 grams to Rs4,225. The international silver rate fell by $0.20 to $48.30 per ounce.
