Pakistan, April 26 -- The prices of gold increased in the local market on Saturday, with 24 karat gold per tola gaining Rs 2,300 to settle at Rs 493,162 compared to Rs 490,862 on the previous trading day, according to rates issued by the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association. Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 24 karat gold rose by Rs 1,971 to Rs 422,806 from Rs 420,835, whereas 10 grams of 22 karat gold went up by Rs 1,807 to Rs 387,586 against Rs 385,779. In the international market, the price of gold increased by $23 to $4,708 per ounce from $4,685. Meanwhile, the price of silver per tola increased by Rs 92 to Rs 8,049 from Rs 7,957, while the price of 10 grams of silver also rose by Rs 79 to Rs 6,900 from Rs 6,821. The p...
