Pakistan, Aug. 1 -- Gold prices declined sharply in Pakistan on Saturday, with the price of one tola falling by Rs3,700 in line with a drop in international bullion markets, according to the All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Association (APGJA).

The association said the price of one tola of gold decreased to Rs426,736, reflecting the latest downward trend in both domestic and global markets.

Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold dropped by Rs3,202, bringing it down to Rs365,857.

The decline in local gold prices follows a fall in international bullion rates, where the price of gold slipped by $37 per ounce to $4,043.
