Pakistan, July 29 -- Gold prices continued their downward trend for a second consecutive day on Wednesday, recording fresh losses in both the international and local markets. The decline reflected weaker global bullion prices, while domestic rates also moved lower in line with international market trends. Despite the fall in gold prices, silver registered gains during the day's trading.
According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Association, the price of 24-karat gold dropped by Rs1,000 per tola, bringing the new rate to Rs426,436. Meanwhile, the price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold fell by Rs857, settling at Rs365,600.
