Pakistan, May 27 -- The prices of gold decreased sharply in the local market on Tuesday, with 24 karat gold per tola falling by Rs 2,400 to settle at Rs 475,362 compared to Rs 477,762 on the previous trading day, according to rates issued by the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association. Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 24 karat gold decreased by Rs 2,057 to Rs 407,546 from Rs 409,603, whereas 10 grams of 22 karat gold went down by Rs 1,886 to Rs 373,597 against Rs 375,483. In the international market, the price of gold decreased by $24 to $4,530 per ounce from $4,554. Meanwhile, the price of silver per tola decreased by Rs 153 to Rs 8,117, while the price of 10 grams of silver declined by Rs 131 to Rs 6,959. The price of silv...
