Pakistan, Sept. 17 -- Gold prices in Pakistan fell on Thursday, following a decline in international gold rates. The price of gold dropped Rs3,800 per tola in the local market.

According to rates shared by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association, gold reached Rs453,436 per tola. The latest decline reversed part of the sharp increase recorded a day earlier.

The price of 10-gram gold also decreased during the session. It fell by Rs3,257 to reach Rs388,749, according to the rates released by the association.

Gold prices had moved higher on Wednesday before Thursday's decline. The price per tola increased by Rs7,900 during Wednesday's trading session, reaching Rs457,236.
