Pakistan, Sept. 5 -- Gold prices in Pakistan fell by Rs3,600 per tola on Saturday, following losses in international markets. The latest decline brought the local gold price to Rs465,536 per tola. The movement came after gold prices weakened globally during the trading session.

According to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association, 10-gram gold also declined. Its price reached Rs399,122 after falling by Rs3,086. The latest rates reflected the broader downward movement in gold prices.

The local market had recorded a notable increase one day earlier. On Friday, gold gained Rs3,900 and reached Rs469,136 per tola. Saturday's decline therefore reversed part of the previous session's increase.
