Pakistan, Dec. 13 -- Gold prices in Pakistan dropped on Saturday, following declines in the international market. The price per tola fell by Rs2,000 to Rs452,262. Similarly, 10-gram gold was sold at Rs387,741 after a decrease of Rs1,715, the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA) reported.
On Friday, gold had risen sharply, reaching Rs454,262 per tola after an increase of Rs10,700 during the day. The recent drop reverses part of this upward movement, reflecting market volatility.
Internationally, gold prices fell by $20, bringing the rate to $4,299 per ounce with a $20 premium. Experts say global trends and demand-supply factors influenced the local market.
