Pakistan, Aug. 31 -- The price of gold in Pakistan fell by Rs1,800 per tola on Monday. The latest decline brought the gold rate to Rs466,136 per tola. The decrease came alongside a fall in international gold prices.

According to the All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Association, the local gold rate declined further. The association reported the new price after a reduction of Rs1,800 per tola. Gold remains closely watched in Pakistan amid regular changes in domestic and global markets.

The price of 10-gram gold also decreased during Monday's trading. Its rate fell by Rs1,543 to reach Rs399,636. The latest figures reflect the movement reported by the jewellery association.
