Gold prices in Pakistan dropped by Rs1,500 per tola on Friday. The new price now stands at Rs355,700. This decline follows a Rs2,000 increase just a day earlier.
The All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA) reported the change. It also noted that the price of 10 grams of gold fell by Rs1,286, bringing it down to Rs304,955.
This drop in gold prices matches the global trend. In the international market, gold lost $15 per ounce, settling at $3,330 with a $20 premium.
On Thursday, gold had climbed to Rs357,200 per tola. That increase was due to earlier global gains, which have now reversed.
