ISLAMABAD, Sept. 1 -- Gold prices continued their downward trend in Pakistan on Tuesday. The latest decline brought further relief to buyers and investors. According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association, gold became cheaper by Rs800 per tola. The price of one tola of gold now stands at Rs465,336.

Meanwhile, the price of 10 grams of gold also declined during the day. The association reported a decrease of Rs686 in the price of 10 grams. The latest rate now stands at Rs398,950. The continued decline follows another significant drop recorded on Monday.
