Pakistan, Sept. 25 -- Gold and silver prices surged in Pakistan on Friday, following strong gains in international bullion markets. Data from the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association showed another sharp increase. The latest rise came as global investors continued supporting precious metals.

The price of 24-karat gold increased by Rs4,700 per tola to Rs453,036. Its price also rose by Rs4,029 per 10 grams to Rs388,404. Meanwhile, 22-karat gold climbed to Rs356,050 per 10 grams from Rs351,024.
