He said investor confidence reflects expectations about both Pakistan's present situation and future prospects. Aurangzeb made these remarks while addressing an event in Islamabad. His comments came as Pakistan continues efforts to strengthen its economic position.

The finance minister said the government is implementing comprehensive reforms in the tax system. Authorities are also working to expand the tax base across the country.
