Pakistan, Sept. 5 -- Gilgit-Baltistan Chief Minister Amjad Hussain has formed a three-member committee to review trekking rules. The move follows the deaths of 10 mountaineers in a Broad Peak avalanche on July 30. The climbers were part of an expedition led by British-Nepali mountaineer Nirmal Purja. His company later confirmed that no members of the group survived. The chief minister also raised concerns over several mountaineering accidents this year.
