Pakistan, April 22 -- A local court in the federal capital on Monday granted an exemption filed by former Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur in the audio leak case, allowing him to remain absent from the proceedings. The hearing was conducted by Additional Sessions Judge Nasr Ullah Khan Baloch at the District and Sessions Court, Islamabad. The court approved the exemption plea submitted on behalf of Gandapur, who did not appear in person. Due to the unavailability of the accused, the statements of prosecution witnesses could not be recorded.
