Pakistan, Sept. 1 -- Pakistan's first three-day 100-mile ultra-trail race, Savage 100, was held in Galiyat from August 28 to 30, attracting 48 runners who tested their endurance on challenging mountain trails.
Organized by Extreme Adventures, the race was held along the Bridal Track from Namli Gali to Barmai Gali. Participants covered approximately 40 kilometres each day, with an elevation gain of more than 2,000 metres and a 12-hour time limit for each stage.
In the men's category, GB Scouts' Yaseen Karim secured first position. He completed the 40-kilometre third-day trail in four hours and 13 minutes, setting a national record for the distance. Ali Abbas and Muhammad Fida, also of GB Scouts, secured second and third positions.
