Pakistan, July 12 -- A fresh monsoon system has entered Pakistan, bringing widespread rain and thunderstorms to many regions while ending the recent heatwave in several cities. Heavy showers fell across Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Lahore and other parts of Punjab, lowering temperatures and improving weather conditions. However, authorities also warned that the new spell could increase the risk of flooding and landslides in vulnerable areas.
