Pakistan, Nov. 6 -- The upcoming FPCCI elections have taken a new turn as two major business groups announced a joint platform and declared Zubair Motiwala as their presidential nominee.

The Businessmen Group (BMG) and Businessmen Panel (BMP) have formed the Pakistan Businessmen Alliance to contest the Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry elections scheduled for December 17.

The development was announced at a joint press conference at Karachi Chamber of Commerce and Industry on Thursday, chaired by BMG Chairman Zubair Motiwala, BMP Chairman Anjum Nisar and KCCI President Talat Mahmood, attended by prominent business leaders.
