Pakistan, Sept. 22 -- Former Canadian prime minister Justin Trudeau has entered the entertainment industry by launching his own media and production company. The company, named Hope and Hard Work, will focus on media and entertainment projects.

Trudeau launched the company on Friday with his longtime chief of staff, Katie Telford. Its launch coincides with the Toronto International Film Festival, which began on Thursday and will continue until September 20.

The company's name comes from a phrase Trudeau often used in political speeches. He used the phrase after becoming Liberal Party leader in 2013 and throughout his nine-year tenure as prime minister.
