Pakistan, July 1 -- A provincial anti-corruption court in Karachi has extended the physical remand of former Yellow Line Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) Project Director Zamir Abbasi by three days in an ongoing corruption investigation.

The court directed that Abbasi remain in the custody of anti-corruption authorities to facilitate further inquiry into allegations of financial irregularities linked to the Yellow Line BRT project. It also instructed the investigating officer to submit a progress report at the next hearing.
