Pakistan, June 19 -- The total liquid foreign reserves of Pakistan kept rising during the second week of June and reached US$ 22,741.7 million, while reserves held by the State Bank of Pakistan inched up to $ 17,221 million.

"During the week ended on 12-June-2026, SBP's FX reserves increased by US$ 6 million to US$ 17,221.0 million," the central bank reported on Thursday in its weekly statement on the position of liquid foreign reserves.

The foreign reserves held by the commercial banks, during the period under review, further increased by $ 64 million to $ 5,520.7 million, as depicted in the breakup of forex reserves.
