Pakistan, Aug. 19 -- Security forces have eliminated over nine terrorists during a series of intelligence-based operations (IBOs) targeting terrorist hideouts across various districts of Balochistan, state media PTV News reported citing security sources on Tuesday.

During the coordinated operations, troops effectively targeted terrorist hideouts in the mountainous terrains of Ziarat and Harnai, as well as in the Surab district, resulting in the destruction of multiple terrorist sanctuaries and the recovery of significant arms caches.

The security sources said forces executed precise strikes against terrorist bases in Harnai and Ziarat, killing the majority of the terrorists and dismantling their operational infrastructure.
