Pakistan, May 14 -- The Sindh Food Department has launched a sweeping crackdown against corruption, wheat stock misappropriation and financial irregularities across various districts of the province on the directives of Sindh Food Minister Makhdoom Mehboob Uz Zaman, with several officials dismissed from service and criminal proceedings ordered in multi-billion-rupee wheat scandal cases.
