Pakistan, May 2 -- Pakistan's Foreign Office has clarified that there is no ongoing ceasefire with Afghanistan. The spokesperson said that a brief three-day pause during Eid has already ended. He added that describing the current situation as a ceasefire is incorrect.
The Foreign Office stated that cross-border terrorism and infiltration attempts from Afghanistan have continued without interruption. It said Pakistan had earlier shown restraint, but attacks persisted despite temporary pauses. Authorities emphasized that security forces remain on alert along the border.
