Pakistan, July 22 -- Heavy rain lashed Murree, Rawalpindi, and Islamabad, causing trees to fall and water to enter homes. The downpour began last night and continued with short breaks. In Murree, several trees fell, blocking roads and trapping vehicles. Landslides were reported near Bostal Road and Expressway, where three people were slightly injured by falling rocks. Rescue teams safely evacuated 11 people and cleared stuck vehicles.
In another incident, landslides hit two homes in Numb Jhandagali village. Fortunately, no lives were lost. The heavy rain, strong winds, and landslides caused widespread disruption in Murree.
