Pakistan, July 20 -- At least three people lost their lives after a vehicle carrying Afghan families returning home was swept away by flash floods in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa's Khyber district on Monday, as heavy monsoon rains continued to trigger emergencies across northern Pakistan.

According to Rescue 1122, the vehicle was caught in powerful floodwaters near Sultan Khel Market in Landi Kotal tehsil. Emergency response teams were immediately dispatched, launching a large-scale search operation with the assistance of local residents.
