Pakistan, Aug. 21 -- First Test action at Headingley saw Pakistan bowl England out for 409 on Friday, but the hosts still secured a commanding 238-run first-innings lead. England resumed on 364-8 and added 45 runs before losing their final two wickets in 89.5 overs. Pakistan had earlier managed only 171 in their opening innings.

Ali Usman led Pakistan's bowling attack with an impressive five-wicket haul, finishing with 5-95 from 24 overs. Khurram Shahzad supported him with three wickets, while Mohammad Abbas and Mohammad Ali claimed one each. Usman also recorded his maiden five-wicket haul in Test cricket during England's strong batting display.
