Pakistan, April 17 -- Pakistan has officially launched its Hajj operations with the first flight departing from Karachi today. The launch marks the beginning of the annual pilgrimage season for thousands of Pakistani pilgrims. The development is significant as it enables a large-scale religious journey under government and private arrangements.

Governor Sindh and provincial ministers will see off the pilgrims at Karachi airport. The first group is travelling via a private airline under coordinated arrangements. Moreover, officials say preparations were completed to ensure a smooth departure process.
