Pakistan, June 20 -- A fire that broke out in the crew living area of an oil tanker anchored near Pasni has been successfully extinguished, according to officials. The vessel had arrived from the UAE port of Fujairah carrying a large shipment of crude oil.
Sources from the Pakistan National Shipping Corporation (PNSC) said the incident occurred on the oil tanker's crew accommodation section, with the captain's cabin reportedly sustaining the most damage. However, the fire was brought under control and extinguished using the ship's own emergency response systems.
