Pakistan, Aug. 16 -- Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb has directed authorities to fast-track the roll-out of three crucial social impact initiatives within weeks, focused on skills development, smallholder farmer financing, and energy efficiency.

The minister gave these directives while chairing meetings to review the progress of work on major government initiatives on Friday. "The initiatives, each designed to generate measurable social impact and advance national development objectives, are being implemented in close coordination with relevant ministries, regulatory bodies, financial institutions, and technical partners," read a statement released by the Finance Division.
