Pakistan, Aug. 18 -- FIFA Chief Operating Officer Kevin Lamour has left the organisation after nearly two years in the senior leadership group, weeks after publicly criticising Gianni Infantino's controversial commercial rights proposal. FIFA confirmed that Lamour's working relationship with the governing body ended on August 17, while thanking him for his service and wishing him well.

Lamour joined FIFA's senior leadership in November 2024 after previously supporting Infantino's successful campaign for the FIFA presidency in 2016.
