Pakistan, July 30 -- Pakistan's Federal Investigation (FIA) has reported a significant decline in the deportations of Pakistani nationals for begging overseas, attributing the improvement to stricter immigration controls and the introduction of artificial intelligence-based passenger screening systems.

According to senior FIA officials, deportations linked to overseas begging have fallen by 75%, while deportations involving fake travel documents declined by 31%. Overall deportations of Pakistani citizens from European countries also dropped by 16% in 2025 compared to the previous year.
