Pakistan, Nov. 5 -- The federal government officially declared November 9 a nationwide public holiday to mark the birth anniversary of Allama Muhammad Iqbal. The Cabinet Division issued a formal notification confirming that public and private sectors will observe the holiday across the country. Furthermore, national institutions are preparing special commemorative ceremonies to honor the visionary poet and philosopher's immense historical contributions. Consequently, federal and provincial government offices, commercial financial banks, and public institutions will suspend routine administrative operations. Therefore, citizens across all four provinces will join annual celebrations honoring Pakistan's legendary national poet.
