Pakistan, June 19 -- Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI) chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman has said that the US President has his eyes on global wealth and that instability has been created in the region to control its resources. He made these remarks while addressing a public gathering in Charsadda.

Fazlur Rehman claimed that when religious scholars had leadership in the subcontinent, there was peace, but instability increased after leadership was taken away from them. He added that sectarianism was promoted in society, but his party had worked to stop it from spreading further.
