Pakistan, Aug. 9 -- JUI-F chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman has welcomed the Makkah Joint Defence Agreement between Pakistan, Saudi Arabia and Turkiye, calling it an important step towards Muslim unity and collective security. Speaking after meeting Makhdoom Javed Hashmi in Multan, Fazlur Rehman said the agreement could strengthen cooperation among Muslim countries. He described the pact as a significant development for the security and solidarity of the Muslim world. His remarks came after the three countries formally signed the defence agreement.
